Overview

Boston's premier fine arts venue hosts dozens of acclaimed theatrical performances each year. Originally opened as a movie palace, the theater was revamped to exclusively serve as an opera house in 1980 and eventually became home to the Boston Ballet in 2009. In addition, it is a frequent stop for touring companies of notable Broadway shows, including Hamilton, Les Miserables, Dear Evan Hansen, Miss Saigon and The Phantom Of The Opera. It can seat over 2,600 patrons.

Handicap Accessibility

As indicated in the above seating chart, wheelchair accessible seating is available in the back of the Orchestra section. Guests requiring these seats are guaranteed to have unobstructed views of the stage and may purchase adjacent companion seating, subject to availability.
