Overview
Vance Joy originally hails from Australia, where he found early career success following the release of his 2013 debut EP God Loves Your When You're Dancing. His single "Riptide" ushered in a breakthrough for Joy both in Australia and worldwide which set the tone for his first full-length studio album Dream Your Life Away.
In 2015, he joined Taylor Swift on her 1989 World Tour to perform across North America, Australia and the United Kingdom. Joy has since gone on several headlining tours of his own around the world. This success has translated to the award circuit, as Joy has won various ARIA and APRA Music Awards, Independent Music Awards and been nominated at the Juno Awards, MTV Video Music Awards and World Music Awards.

Joy's 2013 single "Riptide" is his biggest song to date. It landed within the Top 10 chart in his native Australia and was a Top 40 hit in the U.S. which reached multi-Platinum sales certification.
