Overview

Hootie and the Blowfish have been a force in the music industry for over 30 years. They formed in 1986 while original members Darius Rucker, Brantley Smith, Dean Felber and Mark Bryan were all attending the University of South Carolina. They exploded onto the scene with the release of their 1994 debut album Cracked Rear View, which earned them Grammys and hits like "Hold My Hand," "Let Her Cry" and "Only Wanna Be With You." They went on an extended hiatus in 2008 as Rucker branched out as a solo artist, but reunited in 2019 with a new album and their highly-anticipated Group Therapy Tour.
