Overview

Dead and Company have become one of music’s most successful super groups in the short time they’ve been together. The band formed in 2015 when surviving Grateful Dead members Bob Weir, Mickey Hart and Bill Kreutzmann joined forces with Ratdog keyboardist Jeff Chimenti, Allman Brothers Band bassist Oteil Burbridge and Grammy-winning singer-songwriter John Mayer. While they originally intended to only give one special concert performance after forming, Dead and Company proved to be a smash success and could not limit themselves to only one concert. Instead, they have gone on at least one tour every year they’ve been together, even selling-out major stadiums and ballparks. Their widespread popularity has led to performances at renowned music festivals like Lockn’ Festival and Bonnaroo. The band has not only proven to be a hit among generations of Grateful Dead fans, but with music critics as well, making them one of the most successful groups in recent time.
