BTS Overview

BTS, also known as the Bangtan Boys, formed in 2012 in Seoul, South Korea. They were met with immediate success upon the release of their debut album 2 Cool 4 Skool, prompting chart success throughout their native South Korea and around other parts of Asia. As a result, they expanded their audience by recording albums both in Korean and Japanese languages and grew even further on the global map. The boy band – comprised of Jin (Kim Seok-kin), Suga (Min Yoon-gi), J-Hope (Jung Ho-seok), RM (Kim Nam-joon), Jimin (Park Ji-min), V (Kim Tae-hyung) and Junkook (Jeon Jung-kook) – have put out six studio albums to date and scored hits with singles “I Need U,” “Spring Day,” “DNA,” “Fake Love,” “MIC Drop” and “Idol.”
