With massive hype fueled by a first-ever Las Vegas Super Bowl and breathless “will she or won’t she” coverage of Taylor Swift’s potential attendance, Super Bowl ticket prices for the 58th edition of the big game are – by a wide margin – the highest they’ve ever been, according to Ticket Club marketplace data. Through Wednesday (February 7), consumers are paying an average of nearly $9,500 PER TICKET to see the Kansas City Chiefs vs. the San Francisco 49ers at Allegiant Stadium on Sunday.

The previous all-time high average Super Bowl ticket price? LV in 2020, which checked in at a reduced capacity and with a team (Tampa Bay) playing in its own home stadium. The 2024 Super Bowl is currently seeing an average price paid of about 36% more than that. Prices are up a staggering 72% compared to Super Bowl LVII average ticket prices a year ago ($5,494). When the 49ers and the Chiefs secured their spots in Super Bowl LVIII, the initial “get-in” price stood at $8,503. Now, as of Monday morning, fans can secure their entry for approximately $7,164 – a $500 decrease from just last Friday from $7,676.
