311 and Dirty Heads Announce Joint Tour Dates

Alt-rockers 311 and Dirty Heads are teaming up for a co-headlining summer tour, Live Nation revealed today (March 11). The two veteran bands will bring their signature sound to over two dozen cities on the trek, which kicks off July 2 in Dayton, Ohio.

The busy itinerary includes stops in Chicago, New York, Raleigh, Houston, and Tampa before concluding in Salt Lake City August 20. Both groups will play 28 concerts, but fans should note that an August 10 show in Phoenix will feature 311 only.  The Interrupters are slated to join in support on select dates, along with special guests Dreamers and Bikini Trill.

The co-headliners will each be supporting new music on the cross-country trek. 311 revealed their 15th studio album is due out at some point this summer, though the project’s official name and release date are TBA. The new LP will serve as the follow-up to 2017’s Mosaic, which peaked in the Top 10 of the Billboard Hot 200 and No. 2 of the U.S. Alternative chart. Meanwhile, Dirty Heads are said to be finishing work on their seventh album, also due out later this year.
